2016 WAS AN EXTRAORDINARY YEAR!
$312,000 was raised FOR TABITHA and NOKOR TEP

HERE’S WHAT THAT MADE POSSIBLE IN 2016

NOKOR TEP WOMEN’S HOSPITAL
  • Over 100 people walked or ran to raise $58,000 towards the purchase of a critical transformer.
  • Additional donations of $80,000 went towards the completion of construction.
HOUSE BUILDING:
  • 5 volunteer house building teams from Ontario and British Columbia built 45 homes.

WATER PROJECT

  • 159 Family Wells
  • 81 Field Wells
  • 2 ponds
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
  • Donations received supported 300 families for one year.
SILK SALES
  • $37,000 in sales of silk products provided income for 85 women working in cottage industry.

 

20TH ANNIVERSARY REPORT 2014:

Impact of all the international affiliates combined

Savings program:  over the past 20 years, 469,926 families are participated.  This helped a total of 3,759,408 Cambodians (vs a total population of 14.3 million)

Water sources:  over the past 10 years, 17,821 wells and ponds have been dug.

average family income after = $6,000

House building: over the past 14 years,
349,617 families have built their own houses using the savings program.
9,222 houses have been built by 12,000 volunteers from around the world.

Schools:  over the past 4 years, 66 schools have been built.

Cottage industry:  180 women, half of whom are living with AIDS, are provided with full-time work making beautiful silk products, exported and sold around the world.
